If I brought in all of the parts, would you build a computer for me?
Yes, we assemble custom computers using parts provided by our customers.
Do you sell laptop batteries or chargers?
No, we do not sell replacement parts for laptop or desktop computers.
Do I need an appointment?
For on-site service, yes. For in-shop service, no. But we always recommend giving us a call before you come over, just to see what our workload looks like.
When you repair my computer, will I lose my documents, pictures, and videos?
As long as your computer runs when you bring it to us, you will not lose any of your data. The only time you may lose data is if your computer has had a drive failure or been encrypted by malware.
Do you buy used computers?
Sorry, but we do not purchase used laptop or desktop computers.
Do you repair smartphones and tablets?
No, we do not work on phones or tablets.
Do you repair computer monitors?
No. We recommend that you contact the manufacturer and find out what they recommend in the way of service.
Do you replace broken laptop screens?
Yes, we do. But since there are no local distributors of replacement screens, we recommend that you contact a replacement screen company like
LaptopScreen.com
(1-855-630-1111) and order a replacement screen. Then when you receive the new screen, just give us a call to schedule a time to replace your screen. That way you can continue using your laptop until the new screen arrives.
Do you repair/replace broken hinges on laptops?
Yes, we do. But in all of the years of doing computer repair, we have only once had a laptop with a broken hinge. What most people mistake for a broken hinge is actually a broken hinge mount(s) on either the top or base of their laptop. We can help find a replacement top or bottom and get it installed.
How much will it cost to fix my computer?
That depends on what is exactly wrong with it. That is why we offer free basic in-shop diagnostics. Once we know what is wrong, we can estimate how much it will cost to repair your computer.
How long will it take to fix my computer?
We like to get your computer back up and running as quickly as possible. Depending on what type of repair your computer requires, we always want to try and get your computer fixed the same day you call us. But for more complex repairs, we have a typical turnaround time of less than two (2) days.
